Submission Guidelines

Editorial requirements for submitting manuscripts to The Praxis Society research repository and working paper review process.

Aims and Scope

We consider original work in philosophy, political theory, strategy, history, economics, institutional studies, and adjacent interdisciplinary research.

Manuscript Types

Research articles, working papers, review essays, policy analyses, book reviews, and conference papers are accepted for editorial screening.

Formatting Rules

Submit a clean PDF manuscript with title, author details, abstract, keywords, section headings, page numbers, and complete references.

Abstract and Keywords

Abstracts should clearly state the research question, method, argument, and contribution. Include 4-8 keywords for indexing.

Citation Expectations

Use a consistent academic citation style. Chicago, APA, MLA, and discipline-specific styles are accepted when applied consistently.

Originality Policy

Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under active review elsewhere unless disclosed in the cover letter.

Ethics and Conflicts

Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest, research ethics considerations, funding, and institutional approvals when applicable.

Peer Review Workflow

Submissions move through editorial screening, reviewer assignment, peer review, revision, acceptance, publication, or rejection.

Decision Statuses

Possible decisions are submitted, under review, revision required, accepted, published, rejected, or archived.

Expected Timeline

Initial screening is normally completed within 2-4 weeks. Peer review timelines depend on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

File Type and Size

Upload one PDF file only. The local portal accepts PDFs up to 10 MB. Supplementary files may be requested by staff later.
